Chlorine dioxide solution (CDS) is an aqueous preparation that contains a defined amount of the active ingredient chlorine dioxide. It is a powerful oxidation and disinfection solution that has been used for many years in various areas.

what is CDS ?

Properties:
- Strongly oxidizing and effective against bacteria, viruses, algae, fungi and biofilms
- Odour-neutralizing (e.g. for stale water or organic odours)
- Free of chloramines and therefore significantly gentler on materials than conventional chlorine

Typical areas of application:
- Drinking water treatment (in accordance with legal requirements)
- Disinfection of tanks, pipes and technical systems

Content of CDS on the general market
The Mychem chlorine dioxide solution with 3000ppm ClO2 has a strong yellow coloration. The content is monitored during production with an accurate measuring device. Comparisons with other CDS show that these are usually only around 1000ppm ClO2. This means that the Mychem CDS is very extensive.

Our manufacturing process for CDS is a special, elaborate Mychem in-house development based on the reaction process.

We only use high-purity, very expensive raw materials for the manufacturing process, which are not commercially available.
The result is our CDS in its purest form.

Caution
Cool before opening for the first time, otherwise liquid may splash out!
Bleaches clothes and oxidizes iron alloys!

We guarantee a minimum shelf life of our CDS of 6 months if the container is stored upright and unopened in a dark and cool place. Depending on the storage conditions, the CDS can remain usable for many months longer.

Depending on the frequency of use and the storage temperature, exposure to UV light, the ClO2 concentration of the contents slowly decreases over time.
Reason: When the bottle is opened (especially above 11°C), a small amount of chlorine dioxide gas escapes from the bottle each time. Light can also neutralize the chlorine dioxide.

Quality test: As long as the drops or liquid are yellow and smell like a "swimming pool", there is at least a considerable amount of chlorine dioxide in it. If necessary, increase the application quantity accordingly.
Colourless solutions without a "swimming pool smell" have practically lost their effect and should be disposed of.

MYCHEM.CH's terms of delivery and payment are described in detail during the ordering process. Special delivery methods requested by our customers will be charged with a local surcharge.

Ordered items will be delivered as quickly as possible depending on availability. More precise delivery times are displayed for each item and at the end of the order process.

If an item is not available, we will inform the customer immediately. If non-compliance with a delivery or performance deadline is due to force majeure, unforeseeable obstacles or other circumstances for which we are not responsible, the deadline shall be extended accordingly. If the impossibility of delivery is due to the inability of the manufacturer or our supplier, both we and the buyer may withdraw from the contract if the agreed delivery date is exceeded by more than 3 weeks.

Delivery costs/free delivery
The delivery costs are calculated according to weight and shipping method and are shown separately in the order process.

From a net value of CHF 100.00, shipping is free of charge by "PostPack Priority" or A Mail.

General remarks
There are no delivery costs for personal collection.

The cost of standard factory packaging is included in the price. If special packaging is required or is necessary for the safe shipment of an item, the corresponding costs will be charged.
