Pool disinfection / pool cleaning
with BioClean
Pool care includes water and pool cleaning , pH regulation and protection against limescale deposits. A net is ideal for removing coarse dirt, and there are special filters for fine suspended and sinking particles. You can find these in various shops.
The pool and all pool elements such as handles and ladders should be cleaned regularly to prevent algae formation and calcification. Rags, sponges and pool robots are popular for this purpose.
Spring cleaning (general cleaning)
In the spring, before you start using your pool, you must first remove all coarse dirt from the pool/the remaining water in the pool and then use a pump to completely pump out any remaining water, if any.
For basic cleaning of the pool walls and pool floor, mix water with BioClean depending on the size of your pool. We recommend 0.7ml of BioClean per liter of water. Apply the liquid using a spray bottle, sponge or brush. Then scrub all surfaces well, rinse and pump the water out again.
During the year
Cleaning time
Pay attention to the following first signs so that you don't miss the latest time for pool cleaning (otherwise a general cleaning is imminent):
- Obvious dirt (on the water surface, on the pool floor)
- milky, cloudy water
- unpleasant smell
- rough pool walls
- green water
- slippery floor and/or walls
- After adding chlorine, BioClean or active hydrogen, the pool water turns brown
- Insects, worms, flies in/around the pool
- Rust in the pool
Important points:
- pH value of the pool water
The pool water should have a permanent pH value between 7.0 - 7.6. Deviations can be regulated using commercially available pH increasers and pH reducers.
- Disinfection of the pool
Instead of using the unpopular chlorine, you can disinfect the pool elegantly and in a skin-friendly way with 20 ml of BioClean per m3 of water.
Regular pool cleaning - instructions
- All leaves and other debris should be removed from the pool at the latest when it is cleaned (see above) in order to preserve the value and structural integrity of the pool.
- This also includes disinfecting the water and pool. You can do this very well and effectively with BioClean. We recommend adding 20 ml of BioClean per m3 of water along the edge of the pool.
- If this doesn't help, you will have to do a general cleaning.
