Instructions for Making CDSPreparation
Make sure the room well-ventilated This is because chlorine dioxide gas is released during the chemical reaction, and you must not inhale it.
Caution: Mix only small amounts, e.g., three drops each. Larger amounts produce large volumes of gas.
Implementation
Mix Sodium chlorite (NaClO₂) and hydrochloric acid (HCl) in a 1:1 ratio into a container. The following is suitable for this purpose: Drip tray from our 100-ml bottles. Alternatively, you can use a Pasteur pipette Use (rinse thoroughly after using each chemical).
After just about 45 seconds, you can see the resulting CDS already using.
what is CDS ?
Ready-made Mychem CDS compared to the self-assessed CDS
One drop each of NaClO₂ and HCl is equivalent to the active amount in eight drops of our ready-to-use CDS.
Example: 3 drops of NaClO₂ mixed with 3 drops of HCl = 24 drops Mychem CDS
Purity
The one caused by the Mix derived from NaClO₂ and HCl CDS contains By-products from the raw chemicals and does not reach the Purity of our finished CDS.
Our manufacturing process for CDS is a special, elaborate Mychem's In-House Development by means of Gas Injection Processes. This guarantees an unprecedented level of purity of just a few µS/cm, comparable to ultrapure water.
The result is our CDS purestForm.
Storage/Shelf LifeThe Best-by Date is printed on the bottom of the bottle. This remains visible even after the bottle has been opened several times.
It can be stored away from sunlight at room temperature (no need to refrigerate).

Delivery & ShippingWe supply customers in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
MYCHEM.CH's terms of delivery and payment are described in detail during the ordering process. Special delivery methods requested by our customers will be charged with a local surcharge.
Ordered items will be delivered as quickly as possible depending on availability. More precise delivery times are displayed for each item and at the end of the order process.
If an item is not available, we will inform the customer immediately. If non-compliance with a delivery or performance deadline is due to force majeure, unforeseeable obstacles or other circumstances for which we are not responsible, the deadline shall be extended accordingly. If the impossibility of delivery is due to the inability of the manufacturer or our supplier, both we and the buyer may withdraw from the contract if the agreed delivery date is exceeded by more than 3 weeks.
Delivery costs/free delivery
The delivery costs are calculated according to weight and shipping method and are shown separately in the order process.
From a net value of CHF 100.00, shipping is free of charge by "PostPack Priority" or A Mail.
General remarks
There are no delivery costs for personal collection.

Packaging costs
The cost of standard factory packaging is included in the price. If special packaging is required or is necessary for the safe shipment of an item, the corresponding costs will be charged.
Delivery area
Our articles can only be delivered within Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Deliveries abroad for larger quantities are subject to separate agreement.
