I had the same problem in my garden for years: Plums rot shortly before the harvest. Sometimes they rotted while still on the tree, sometimes only a day after picking. This was due to the widespread Monilia fruit rotwhich occurs particularly in plums, cherries and other stone fruit.
Anyone who has experienced this knows how annoying it is when you look forward to the harvest all year round - and then the fruit ends up in the compost.
This summer I tried a product that really convinced me: BioClean.
My application:
- Dilution: 50 drops to 250 ml water
- Application: Spray the almost ripe plums directly
The result: Not a single plum has rotted!
The fruit was healthy, aromatic and long-lasting - something I hadn't experienced for years.
BioClean also had a surprisingly positive effect on my blackberries. These regularly suffered from the Rod diseasea fungal disease that weakens the shoots and reduces the harvest. With timely and repeated application, the plants remain healthy and strong.
So that BioClean really helps, I have learned the following:
- Inject early: Not only when the disease is already visible.
- Repeat several times: Especially with blackberries.
- Also try other plants: My impression is that BioClean has a broader effect than just on plums.
After many frustrating years, I have finally found a solution against Monilia fruit rot on plums. With BioClean, I was able to harvest healthy, ripe fruit and at the same time protect my blackberries from the cane disease.
👉 For all those who have problems with Plum fruit rot, monilia or cane disease on blackberries have: An experiment with BioClean is definitely worthwhile.
