CDS (chlorine dioxide solution) is a diluted aqueous solution of the strongly oxidizing gas chlorine dioxide and is widely used in laboratories and technical applications. Due to its pronounced reactivity CDS especially for oxidation processes, material analyses and various chemical tests.
Special care must be taken when handling due to the oxidizing properties. CDS should be stored in a cool, light-protected and safe place and only used with suitable protective equipment.
