What is CDS powder?

CDS Powder is a silver aluminum composite bag filled with a dry chemical powder mixture.
This bag can be stored for years in a sealed state.
If the powder mixture is added to water, a pure, ready-to-use chlorine dioxide solution in pH-neutral Mychem quality is formed within a few hours.

"Maturation process" of the CDS powder

Pour the powder mixture into water the evening before according to the instructions and use in full concentration in the morning.
Container (glass or plastic, no metal) with tight-fitting lid

Fill the bottle with 100ml of water, pour the contents of the aluminum composite bag into the bottle, close the bottle tightly with the lid and swirl / turn well.

Store in a dark place.

A process now starts which forms chlorine dioxide gas.
This is bound in the water, which slowly turns yellow.
Depending on the water temperature, this process runs faster or slower until the final value is reached.

Example:
100ml water, 20°C
1 CDS powder
Increase 300ppm _ClO2 per hour
Final value of 3'000ppm _ClO2 (0.3%) reachedafter 10-12 hours

Storage/shelf life

We

the minimum shelf life of our CDS powder is guaranteed for 3 years, provided that the aluminum composite bag is sealed and stored in a dry place.

If the CDS powder in water, the shelf life is approximately the same as that of our CDS in bottles: At least 1/2 year.
Prerequisite: The storage conditions are correct in terms of darkness, temperature tight lid etc.

We supply customers in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

The delivery and payment conditions of mychem.ch are precisely described during the ordering process. Special shipping forms desired by our customers are calculated with a customary surcharge.

Ordered items are delivered as soon as possible depending on availability. More detailed delivery times are displayed for each article and at the end of the ordering process.

If an article is not available, we will inform the customer immediately. If the failure to comply with a delivery or performance period for force majeure, unpredictable obstacles or other circumstances that we do not have to be returned can be attributed, the deadline will be extended appropriately. If the impossibility of the delivery is based on the inability of the manufacturer or our supplier, both we and the buyer can withdraw from the contract, provided the agreed delivery date is exceeded by more than 3 weeks.

Delivery costs/free delivery
The delivery costs are measured according to weight and shipping method and are selected separately in the ordering process.

From a net star value of CHF 100.00, shipping is free of charge by "Postpack Priority" or A-Post.

General comments
In the event of personal collection, there are no delivery costs.

Packaging costs
The costs of the customary packaging are included in the price. If a special packaging is required or this is required for the safe shipping of an article, the corresponding costs will be charged.

Delivery area
Our articles can only be delivered within Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Deliveries abroad take place in the event of larger quantities after a separate agreement.
