Dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO for short) is an organic sulphur compound that has been used for decades in medicine, animal care and technology. It is a colourless liquid with a characteristic odour that is characterized by a particularly high solubility.

DMSO has many uses, including as:
- solvent in laboratories and technology
- auxiliary substance in research
- care and cleaning agent for animals and plants

Basic substances:
- dimethyl sulphide (DMS): a by-product of the pulp and paper industry (produced during the processing of wood).
- oxygen: used for oxidation.

High-purity dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) in technical and pharmaceutical quality, available in concentrations of 70 %, 99.7 % and 99.9 % Ph. Eur.
DMSO is a natural substance obtained from tree wood.

DMSO can "freeze"
Concentrated DMSO becomes solid below 19 °C!
Thaw: Liquefy again in lukewarm water or in a warm room.

Since DMSO is obtained from natural raw materials, the smell may differ slightly depending on the batch. This has no influence on the purity or quality.

Lara's tip:

Against chronic tendonitis in the fingers and wrist. Also very effective against weather-related pain in operated joints. Rub 10-15 drops onto the affected area and repeat 2-3 times a day. 

Against herpes virus blisters
If you notice that herpes is appearing, whether on the lips or other areas, dab a few drops onto the affected area 2-3 times a day and allow to dry. Do this from the first sign. This can halve the healing time of the annoying herpes outbreak, depending on its severity. 

Storage

DMSO must be stored at room temperature; depending on its concentration, it may freeze in the refrigerator!

MYCHEM.CH's terms of delivery and payment are described in detail during the ordering process. Special delivery methods requested by our customers will be charged with a local surcharge.

Ordered items will be delivered as quickly as possible depending on availability. More precise delivery times are displayed for each item and at the end of the order process.

If an item is not available, we will inform the customer immediately. If non-compliance with a delivery or performance deadline is due to force majeure, unforeseeable obstacles or other circumstances for which we are not responsible, the deadline shall be extended accordingly. If the impossibility of delivery is due to the inability of the manufacturer or our supplier, both we and the buyer may withdraw from the contract if the agreed delivery date is exceeded by more than 3 weeks.

Delivery costs/free delivery
The delivery costs are calculated according to weight and shipping method and are shown separately in the order process.

From a net value of CHF 100.00, shipping is free of charge by "PostPack Priority" or A Mail.

General remarks
There are no delivery costs for personal collection.

Packaging costs
The cost of standard factory packaging is included in the price. If special packaging is required or is necessary for the safe shipment of an item, the corresponding costs will be charged.

Delivery area
Our articles can only be delivered within Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Deliveries abroad for larger quantities are subject to separate agreement.
