Seal the jar airtight and store in a dark place at room temperature for 24 hours.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n4\n\u003cp\u003eRepeat the process 5 times until 0.3% CDS is reached.\u003cbr\u003e5. Neutralize the residual solution in the shot glass with ascorbic acid and dispose of it.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e👉 The result:\u003c\/strong\u003e approx. 0.32% CDS - but with a slightly acidic pH value (~5).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e⚠️ Important note:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eChlorine dioxide gas is produced during the reaction.
