Ready-to-use 4-percent hydrochloric acid solution (HCl), available in three degrees of purity: technical, pheurand ultrapure- depending on the area of application. Ideal for use in the laboratory, for pH value correction or for technical cleaning processes.

Preparation
Make sure that the room is well ventilated, as chlorine dioxide gas escapes during the chemical reaction and you must not inhale it.
Caution Only mix small quantities, e.g. three drops each. Larger quantities produce large amounts of gas.
Procedure
Mix sodium chlorite (NaClO2) and hydrochloric acid (HCl) in a 1:1 ratio in a container. The dropper insert from our 100 ml bottles is suitable for this. Alternatively, you can use a Pasteur pipette (rinse well after using each chemical).
After only approx. 45 seconds you can already use the CDS created.
what is CDS ?
Finished Mychem CDS compared to the CDS you have prepared yourself
One drop of NaClO2 and HCI each corresponds to the effective quantity of eight drops of our finished CDS.
Example: 3 drops of NaClO2 mixed with 3 drops of HCl = 24 drops of Mychem CDS
Purity
The CDS obtained by mixing NaClO2 and HCl contains by-products from the raw chemicals and does not achieve the purity of our finished CDS.
The manufacturing process of our CDS is a special, elaborate Mychem in-house development based on the reaction process.
For the manufacturing process, we only use high-purity, very expensive raw materials that are not commercially available.
The result is our CDS purest Form.
The minimum shelf life is printed on the bottom of the bottle. This also applies after repeated opening.
The product can be stored away from sunlight at room temperature (refrigerator unnecessary).

We supply customers in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
The delivery and payment conditions of mychem.ch are precisely described during the ordering process. Special shipping forms desired by our customers are calculated with a customary surcharge.
Ordered items are delivered as soon as possible depending on availability. More detailed delivery times are displayed for each article and at the end of the ordering process.
If an article is not available, we will inform the customer immediately. If the failure to comply with a delivery or performance period for force majeure, unpredictable obstacles or other circumstances that we do not have to be returned can be attributed, the deadline will be extended appropriately. If the impossibility of the delivery is based on the inability of the manufacturer or our supplier, both we and the buyer can withdraw from the contract, provided the agreed delivery date is exceeded by more than 3 weeks.
Delivery costs/free delivery
The delivery costs are measured according to weight and shipping method and are selected separately in the ordering process.
From a net star value of CHF 100.00, shipping is free of charge by "Postpack Priority" or A-Post.
General comments
In the event of personal collection, there are no delivery costs.

Packaging costs
The costs of the customary packaging are included in the price. If a special packaging is required or this is required for the safe shipping of an article, the corresponding costs will be charged.

Our articles can only be delivered within Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
