What is CDS Fix?

CDS Fix is a combination of a base solution of sodium chlorite gas in water and the activator powder in a silver aluminum composite bag.
These components can be conveniently taken along and stored in a sealed state for years.
If you add the activator powder to the base solution, a pure, ready-to-use chlorine dioxide solution in pH-neutral Mychem quality is formed within a few hours.

"Maturing process" from CDS Fix

Add activator powder to base solution according to instructions the evening before and use in full concentration in the morning.
Container (glass or plastic, no metal) with tight-fitting lid

Instructions

Open bottle with base solution, add contents of aluminum composite bag (activator powder) to bottle, close bottle tightly with lid and swirl well / turn.

Store in the dark.

Now a process starts which forms chlorine dioxide gas.
This is bound in the water contained in the base solution and slowly turns yellow.
Depending on the temperature of the base solution, this process runs faster or slower until the final value is reached.

Example:
100ml base solution, 20°C
1 CDS Activator powder
Increase 300ppm _ClO2 per hour
After 10-12 hours Final value of 3'000ppm _ClO2 (0.3%) reached

Storage/shelf life

We

the minimum shelf life of our CDS Fix is guaranteed for 5 years, provided that the base solution and the aluminum composite bag with the activator powder are sealed and stored in a dry place.

If the activator powder is prepared in the base solution, the shelf life is approximately the same as that of our CDS in bottles: At least 1/2 year.
Prerequisite: The storage conditions are correct in terms of darkness, temperature, tight lid, etc.

The delivery and payment conditions of mychem.ch are precisely described during the ordering process. Special shipping forms desired by our customers are calculated with a customary surcharge.

Ordered items are delivered as soon as possible depending on availability. More detailed delivery times are displayed for each article and at the end of the ordering process.

If an article is not available, we will inform the customer immediately. If the failure to comply with a delivery or performance period for force majeure, unpredictable obstacles or other circumstances that we do not have to be returned can be attributed, the deadline will be extended appropriately. If the impossibility of the delivery is based on the inability of the manufacturer or our supplier, both we and the buyer can withdraw from the contract, provided the agreed delivery date is exceeded by more than 3 weeks.

Delivery costs/free delivery
The delivery costs are measured according to weight and shipping method and are selected separately in the ordering process.

From a net star value of CHF 100.00, shipping is free of charge by "Postpack Priority" or A-Post.

General comments
In the event of personal collection, there are no delivery costs.

Packaging costs
The costs of the customary packaging are included in the price. If a special packaging is required or this is required for the safe shipping of an article, the corresponding costs will be charged.
