Our dextrorotatory lactic acid 21% is a proven natural remedy for regulating the Intestinal flora and to support the Liver detoxification. L(+)-lactic acid promotes a healthy, slightly acidic intestinal environment that inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria and fungi. In this way, it supports natural digestion and protects against toxic metabolic products such as ammonia.

Regulates the intestinal environment

A diet high in meat and low in fiber and the intake of antibiotics often lead to an alkaline, unhealthy intestinal environment. This favors the formation of metabolic toxins that are harmful to the liver, such as ammonia and cadaverine, by putrefactive bacteria. The long-term intake of highly alkaline alkalizing agents can also damage the intestinal flora.
The dextrorotatory lactic acid lowers the pH value in the intestine and creates a slightly acidic environment. This inhibits the growth of pathogenic microorganisms and reduces the formation of harmful substances. At the same time, it promotes the growth of healthy bacteria and thus supports digestion and healthy intestinal flora.

Relieves the liver

By acidifying the intestine, lactic acid prevents the absorption of toxic ammonia, which is produced by the bacterial decomposition of undigested protein components. An alkaline environment can develop in the intestine, particularly with high protein consumption, which increases the ammonia load. The body absorbs this ammonia, which places a heavy burden on the liver.

In an acidic environment, on the other hand, ammonia is converted into non-toxic ammonium salt and excreted in the stool. This improves the detoxification performance of the liver and positively supports the acid-base balance.
