Nutritional supplement
Chlorella vulgaris is a microscopic freshwater alga. It is one of the oldest organisms in the world; it has existed for 2 billion years.
The name of this unicellular aquatic plant comes from the Greek chloros = green, yellow-green and -ella = small. The microalgae is spherical in shape and occurs worldwide
pure cultivation
Chlorella has been cultivated in Klötze/Germany since the year 2000. Thanks to the unique and patented method in a 500 km long glass tube system, the algae are optimally supplied with sunlight, because there are no "dark zones" such as in the deeper layers of a pond and there is no pollution from the outside. Only the purest raw materials, such as well-mineralized water from our own spring, are used for cultivation.
The entire cultivation from the starter culture to the finished product is controlled by the in-house laboratory and is certified according to international standards. The products are also regularly analyzed by external laboratories. This combination of clean cultivation, many years of experience, new findings from our own research projects and permanent controls ensure the exceptional quality of the product. Because only chlorella of the highest quality guarantees safety and success in use!
effect of chorella
The health-promoting effect of Chlorella vulgaris is said to be particularly effective for hair, brain, skin and our metabolism. Chlorella has been used for detoxification and heavy metal elimination for centuries.
Additional Information
Broken cell walls / micronization
The cell walls of our chlorella are not broken. Various studies show that digestibility is not significantly increased as a result. Factors such as the drying process or the type of chlorella used seem to have a greater influence.
Chlorella & vitamin B12, daily requirement
The topic of bioavailability of vitamin B12 from algae is often discussed. In fact, there are big differences within the algae. Our chlorella contains 100 µg / 100 g total vitamin B12, which means that the recommended daily dose of 3 g chlorella covers 120% of your daily requirement.
Chlorella & Iodine
This element is only present in traces in freshwater algae such as Chlorella vulgaris.
sulphites
Chlorella naturally contains sulphites. The range of fluctuation is between <10 mg/kg - approx. 30 mg/kg. Sulphites are not added to the product.
